Hotel Mannu three stars prides itself on its top-class service, excellent cuisine and strategic position, just a few minutes from the centre of the picturesque town of Bosa. The hotel has become a point of reference for people visiting Bosa, whether for holidays, trips or business meetings. Bosa began as a Phoenician settlement, which grew up on the left bank of the River Temo, the only navigable river in Sardinia, and soon became an important trading centre. Testimony to this rich history can be found in the Castello di Serravalle, the Romanesque church of San Pietro extra Muros and in the smaller church of Sant'Antonio (XV century), as well as in the town’s main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Today Bosa is renowned for its coral working and for the production of Malvasia, a sweet white wine with a high alcohol content. However, there are also two characteristic events which attract hundreds of visitors every year: the Carnival and, the second Sunday in September, the religious festival of Nostra Signora di Regnos Altos, venerated in the Castle’s Palatine chapel. Hotel Mannu is a family-run hotel which offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere all year round and is within easy reach of Bosa Marina, the town’s charming harbour. Entrance to the hotel is through a broad covered porch leading to a TV room and bar. There is also a well-equipped conference room and a private car-park. |
