The unmistakable, intense flavours and the excellent service of the “Da Giancarlo e Rita” restaurant make it a must for people visiting or passing through Bosa Hotels. The restaurant is run by the owner of Hotel Mannu himself and his sister. The three dining rooms in the hotel offer a refined, hospitable atmosphere and can cater for up to one hundred diners. During the summer, with the addition of the veranda, capacity is one hundred and thirty. Throughout the year diners can sample delicious specialities from Bosa’s culinary tradition, which includes both meat and fish dishes, all prepared with local produce. Among the most characteristic dishes are hand-made panadinas (savoury pies), gnocchetti with lamb sauce and roast suckling pig. While the fish menu offers mixed grilled fish, lobster and skate, all to be accompanied with the fine wines from the restaurant’s well-stocked wine cellar. The mouth-watering desserts are also home-made and follow local traditions with the basic ingredients of almonds and hazelnuts.
